Job summary

The Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority is seeking enthusiastic Caravan Park Attendants to join our Accommodation Services team across Apollo Bay Recreation Reserve and Marengo Family Caravan Park for the peak summer period.

Based at the stunning Great Ocean Road, this hands-on role involves preparing cabins, welcoming guests, maintaining facilities and grounds, and supporting reception and bookings. Ideal candidates enjoy practical work, teamwork, and high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, hospitality, accommodation services or customer service.
• High attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean and welcoming spaces.
• Willingness to undertake physically active work and work outdoors when required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to weekends, public holidays and peak periods.
• First Aid qualifications and RMS booking systems experience (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Prepare cabins and accommodation to a high housekeeping standard.
• Clean amenities, communal facilities and public areas.
• Provide friendly customer service and assistance to guests.

We're seeking enthusiastic and reliable Caravan Park Attendants to join our Accommodation Services team across our Apollo Bay Recreation Reserve and Marengo Family Caravan Park during our peak holiday period.

Based right on the stunning Great Ocean Road, this is a hands‑on, varied role that helps create exceptional holiday experiences for thousands of visitors each year. No two days are the same. You might be preparing accommodation for arriving guests, helping visitors at reception, maintaining park facilities, or keeping our grounds looking their best.

This role would suit someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in maintaining high standards, loves working as part of a team, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves during a busy summer season.

What you'll do

As a Caravan Park Attendant, you'll play an important role in ensuring our parks are welcoming, clean, safe and enjoyable for guests.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing cabins and accommodation to a high housekeeping standard.

What we're looking for

We're looking for team members who bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a willingness to help wherever needed.

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, hospitality, accommodation services or customer service.
• A high attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean and welcoming spaces.
• A willingness to undertake physically active work and work outdoors when required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A flexible approach to work, including weekends, public holidays and peak holiday periods.
• First Aid qualifications and experience using RMS or similar booking systems (desirable).

Most importantly, we’re looking for people who enjoy being part of a busy team and are happy to jump in wherever needed to help deliver a great guest experience.

Successful applicants will be required to hold or obtain a Working with Children Check and complete a National Police Check prior to commencement. A current Victorian Driver Licence is required for this role.
