Job summary

RACV Finance is seeking a customer-focused Lending Specialist to guide customers through their car lending journey from enquiry to settlement, based in Melbourne. You will manage loan applications, communicate clearly and proactively, and deliver a positive customer experience while adhering to lending policies, regulatory requirements and RACV standards.

Collaboration with internal teams, accurate documentation, and timely updates will be essential as you assess applications and support

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, contact centre, retail or a similar environment.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Lending knowledge and risk assessment familiarity; regulatory awareness a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end lending journey from enquiry to contracts and settlement.
• Assess applications and supporting documentation per responsible lending requirements.
• Keep customers informed throughout the process and deliver high service levels.
• Apply sound judgement to identify risks or anomalies in applications.
• Work within RACV Finance lending, settlement, compliance and AML/CTF requirements.
• Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to individual targets and positive customer outcomes.
