Job summary

Assurant is seeking a Capability Partner to lead the Australia & NZ capability strategy, translating priorities into a focused 12-month portfolio of capability initiatives. Based in Hawthorn East, you will partner with leaders to diagnose needs, design practical capability solutions, and embed global talent initiatives across AUS & NZ.

You will drive leadership development, coaching, and the adoption of AI and digital tools, ensuring measurable business outcomes and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years' experience in capability, learning and development, leadership development, organisational development or a related field.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Learning & Development, Psychology, Education, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience developing capability strategies and translating business priorities into actionable capability roadmaps and annual plans.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose capability challenges with leaders and shape strategic capability plans.
• Design and deliver leadership and people manager development initiatives.
• Drive AI and digital capability and enable practical business outcomes.
• Create blended learning experiences using facilitation, coaching, peer learning, digital resources and workplace application.
• Facilitate high-impact workshops and development programs for senior leaders.
• Establish success measures and evaluate learning effectiveness for measurable outcomes.
• Partner with Compliance to design and improve mandatory and regulatory learning programs.
