Job summary

Icon Cancer Centre Revesby is seeking a part-time Medical Reception/Administration Officer to support our medical oncology and radiation oncology teams. You will be the first point of contact for patients, manage admissions/discharges, bookings, and billing, and ensure accurate paperwork and timely communications across units.

The role offers a dynamic, busy environment at Revesby with day hospital and on-site radiation therapy services.

Qualifications

• Experience in specialist consulting rooms or reception roles.
• Experience in hospital/day hospital administration.
• Experience in clinic/practice administration (dental/GP/allied health).

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and collect/enter personal details.
• Schedule and manage appointments.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries.
• Enter and process patient billing and balance daily banking.
• Monitor and assess the administration care path of patients.
• Maintain and manage patient information and paperwork.
• Prepare consulting rooms and workspaces for clinicians.
