Job summary

Charter Diligence is recruiting 5x experienced Software Engineer .NET Developers to support a major Federal Government digital modernisation program in Canberra. You will work in an Agile team, delivering secure, scalable software using C#, .NET and Microsoft technologies.

Ideal candidates have hands-on coding experience, cloud familiarity and strong SDLC knowledge. Onsite with discretionary hybrid flexibility, start 10 November 2026, initial contract until 30 June 2027 with a 12-month extension

Qualifications

• Strong C#/.NET development experience in enterprise apps.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, SQL databases and cloud tech.
• Familiarity with Agile SDLC and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs, backend services and SQL databases.
• Modernise legacy systems to improve performance and security.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews and testing.
