Job summary

radk tech pty ltd in Canberra is seeking an experienced Mainframe Software Engineer / Developer with ADABAS Natural expertise for an initial contract through to 30 June 2027, with potential 12-month extension. NV1 security clearance is mandatory, and the role is based onsite in Canberra.

You will develop, maintain and support enterprise applications in a highly regulated government ICT environment, collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver robust software solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining enterprise software using ADABAS Natural.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet timeframes and budgets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in dispersed teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, maintain and test enterprise software using ADABAS Natural.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into software solutions.
• Investigate and resolve application issues with technical/business teams.
• Provide guidance and mentor less experienced developers.
• Produce technical design and system documentation.
