Job summary

Atturra Limited in Canberra seeks a SQL Server & SSIS Database Developer for a permanent Defence project. You will work within the Data & Integration unit, delivering to Atturra clients in Federal Government, including the Defence site in Russell, ACT.

Active NV1 clearance is mandatory. You will develop and support SQL Server 2022, SSIS, and Azure DevOps pipelines, maintain ETL processes, and implement schema changes across multiple ALM environments.

Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2022, T-SQL, and SSIS in data integration projects.
Proficiency in developing and deploying SSIS packages and ETL processes.
Experience maintaining and deploying database changes across multiple environments using DevOps pipelines.
Ability to manage database schema changes and scripting in SSMS/VS DB projects.

Responsibilities

Develop and support SQL Server 2022, T-SQL, SSIS, database projects, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
Maintain and troubleshoot ETL processes and SSIS deployments across environments.
Develop database objects: triggers, stored procedures, data-processing workflows, and metadata-driven solutions.
Apply schema changes to code repositories and maintain in DevOps and VS DB projects.
Deploy database changes across six ALM environments using Build/Release pipelines.
Manage SSIS project updates and data mappings for schema changes.
Deploy and configure SSIS packages in the SSIS Host and platform scheduler.
Create and deploy post-update scripts for Production data updates and fixes.
Maintain Airflow and PySpark jobs for ETL across databases and medallion zones, with Iceberg schema changes.
