Job summary

Financial Advice Association of Australia is seeking an experienced Financial Planner to join a growing Canberra practice. You will work with an established client base, deliver holistic financial advice, and build long-term relationships across retirement planning, superannuation, wealth management, and risk insurance.

Relocation support may be available and you will benefit from dedicated paraplanning and administration support, plus direct mentoring from an experienced Principal Financial

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
• Experience in retirement planning and superannuation is highly regarded.
• Proven ability to deliver high‑quality financial advice and positive client outcomes.
• Experience with defined benefit superannuation schemes is advantageous, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic financial advice to clients and develop tailored strategies.
• Conduct client meetings, prepare strategic advice, and manage ongoing reviews.
• Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes and grow the client base within the Canberra practice.
