Findex in Canberra is seeking an Associate Financial Planner to support Advisers in delivering strategic planning and investment advice. You will prepare pre-appointment work, attend client meetings, and help ensure compliance with industry regulations and Findex policies.

You’ll develop your career with mentoring from experienced Advisers and Partners, supported by structured training and education pathways, with a clear development route towards CFP goals.

Qualifications

• FASEA approved degree or equivalent.
• Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning qualified, or equivalent.
• Interest in achieving or studying CFP.
• Proven experience in a similar Financial Planning role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload.
• Ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Proactively communicate with clients and identify needs.
• Support Advisers/Partners in providing strategic financial planning and investment advice.
• Prepare pre-appointment work and participate in client meetings.
• Ensure advice documents are compliant with legislation, regulation, and policies.
• Coordinate production of advice documentation and help prepare SOAs.
