Hype DC in Canberra Central is seeking a premium, experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team. You will drive brand vision, foster a high‑performance culture, and create memorable experiences for both customers and the team.

As a key business leader, you will sit on the floor 80% of your week, coaching a large team, delivering strong sales, and ensuring operational excellence across all store activities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a premium, fast-paced retail environment with a proven record in driving sales and KPIs.
• A coach who can motivate, inspire, and level up a large team of brand ambassadors.
• Experience delivering best in class customer experiences and leading a store to high performance.

Responsibilities

• Be on the floor about 80% of your week, keeping the customer at the core of every decision and delivering memorable experiences.
• Drive financial sales goals and key metrics for a multimillion dollar store.
• Deliver on the brand vision and strategy, ensuring best in class store presentation and operation.
• Provide coaching, support, and feedback to drive results across the team.
• Recruitment, selection and onboarding of all new team members within your store.
• Deliver a seamless omni‑channel experience to our customers in-store.
• Ensure Visual Merchandising excellence keeps the store at the front of the pack.
• Strive to be the best version of yourself at work every day and create a fun, safe environment.
• Collaborate with Area and State Managers and in-store team to maximise sales growth and develop your people.
