The School Locker, partnering with St Peters Lutheran College, invites applications for a Campus Store Customer Service Assistant at the St Peters Uniform Store in Queensland. You will help families with selecting and fitting school uniforms, process sales, and keep the store neat and welcoming for students, parents and staff.

We value friendly, reliable customer service and attention to detail. Retail experience is useful but not required; Australian work rights are essential.

We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team at the St Peters Lutheran College Uniform Store. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a retail environment, enjoys helping customers, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to students, parents, and staff.

About the Role:

As a Campus Store Customer Service Assistant, you will assist families with purchasing and fitting school uniforms while ensuring a smooth and efficient shopping experience. You will also support stock management, process sales, and maintain store presentation. This is a hands-on retail role where attention to detail and customer care are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, and school staff.

Assist customers in selecting and fitting uniforms, ensuring correct sizing and compliance with school requirements.

Process sales transactions accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system.

Maintain stock levels, assist with deliveries, and keep the store organised and presentable.

Follow company guidelines and procedures to ensure smooth store operations.

Work independently during shifts while also supporting a broader team.

Uphold Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) standards to maintain a safe working environment.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.

Experience in retail or a similar role (preferred but not essential).

Requirements:

Valid Working with Children Clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Australian residency or working rights.
