Job summary

The School Locker, in partnership with Kogarah Public School, seeks a Casual Campus Store Customer Service Assistant to help students, families and staff with uniforms, fittings and purchases.

You will run the till, manage stock, pack online orders, and keep displays tidy. This hands-on retail role rewards a friendly, proactive team player who can stay calm during peak trading and deliver excellent customer care.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak periods.
• Proactive team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and helpful customer service to students, parents, and staff.
• Assist customers with uniform fittings to ensure correct sizing.
• Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions, and handle payments accurately.
• Manage stock levels, including receiving deliveries, replenishing shelves, and organising displays.
• Process and manage online orders, including packing and coordinating collections.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised store environment in line with company and school standards.
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure smooth store operations.

Campus Store Customer Service – Kogarah Public School

As part of this partnership, The School Locker operates the on-campus retail store, offering students and families access to high-quality uniforms, school supplies, and essential learning resources. We are currently seeking a Casual Campus Store Customer Service Assistant to join our team and help deliver an exceptional retail experience to the Kogarah school community.

About the Role:

As a Casual Campus Store Customer Service Assistant, you will assist families with purchasing and fitting school uniforms while ensuring a smooth and efficient shopping experience. You will also support stock management, process sales, and maintain store presentation. This is a hands-on retail role where attention to detail and customer care are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide friendly and helpful customer service to students, parents, and staff.

Assist customers with uniform fittings to ensure correct sizing.

Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions, and handle payments accurately.
