Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a field service team responsible for safe and efficient maintenance across a multi-building campus that includes office and laboratory spaces.

The role sits within Engineering and Technical Services, focusing on preventive maintenance, repairs, and client support, with opportunities to expand contract scope through strong leadership and customer relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, measuring, appraising and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
• Ability to communicate sensitive information and manage expectations.
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff, conduct evaluations, and oversee hiring.
• Manage daily team activities, schedules, and cross-training.
• Coordinate technical training, skill assessments, and performance coaching.
• Maintain client satisfaction and seek opportunities to expand contract scope.
• Ensure compliance with license/certification requirements and audits.
• Maintain maintenance metrics and report to Site Manager.
• Lead meetings to prioritise work orders and downtime windows.
• Model CBRE RISE values and influence stakeholders to reach agreements.
• Integrate disciplinary knowledge with team objectives.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day operational issues.
