Job summary

Danihers Facility Management is seeking a practical and motivated Grounds, Gardens and Maintenance Officer to join our team in Kyneton. This hands-on role requires maintaining lawns, gardens and facilities with pride.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will operate mowers, conduct minor repairs, and support safety, WHS and environmental compliance while helping create well-presented grounds for a school environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in grounds, gardens or maintenance.
• Practical knowledge of horticulture and garden care.
• General maintenance and handyman skills.
• Ability to operate grounds equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, gardens, trees, hedges and landscaped areas.
• Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers.
• Undertake general repairs and painting as required.
• Maintain site safety, environmental records and compliance.
• Assist with event setup and on-site coordination.
