Job summary

Byron Bay Van Fitouts is seeking skilled tradespeople for on-site campervan builds in Tyagarah, NSW. Contractors may join one of two streams, with project-based hours and ABN invoicing. We value reliability, high workmanship, and independent, self-managed work styles across the teams.

Initial engagements focus on 12V electrical, cabinetry or related carpentry tasks, with potential to extend across multiple projects over 12 months. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Qualifications

• Active ABN with ability to invoice for project work.
• Relevant trade qualification or licence in at least one discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience and high-quality workmanship.
• Self-managed and professional approach.
• Current Australian work rights and a valid driver’s licence.
• White Card and commitment to project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Complete project-based builds per trade stream.
• Read and interpret plans and technical drawings.
• Install cabinetry or electrical components as required.
• Perform fault-finding, testing and quality checks.
• Maintain clear communication and meet deadlines.
