Job summary

Byron Bay Van Fitouts is seeking skilled, independent contractors for two trade streams in Tyagarah, NSW on-site. This ABN-based engagement is project-by-project, with scope and rates agreed before each project and the aim of ongoing work across at least 12 months.

Technical stream covers 12V electrical, solar, batteries and related equipment, plus 240V work with the appropriate licence, water systems and mechanical fault-finding.

Qualifications

• Active ABN required
• Trade qualification or licence in at least one listed discipline
• Strong hands-on experience and high-quality workmanship
• Self-managed and reliable with good communication
• Own transport and standard trade tools
• Current driver’s licence and White Card
• Australian work rights and availability for Tyagarah workshop for 12+ months

Responsibilities

• Perform 12V electrical, solar, inverters, batteries and related installations
• Carry out 240V work where licensed
• Install water tanks, pumps, piping and appliances
• Electrical, mechanical and fault-finding tasks in campervan builds
• Cabinetry and fit-out installation, finishing and reading plans
• Read plans, use precise measurements and work with workshop tools
