Indie Campers is seeking a skilled Campervan Mechanic for our Sydney depot. You will maintain campervans to the highest standards, supporting the APAC region and ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive servicing.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical repair experience, weekend/holiday availability, and a valid driver’s license. Join a mission-driven team that values craftsmanship and practical problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Education or certified training in mechanics, mechatronics or automotive tech.
• At least 1+ years of hands-on mechanical and electrical repairs; campervans a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• English and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for mechanical, electrical, heating and water system issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on campervans and motorhomes.
• Replace parts and maintain spare parts inventory; coordinate with external partners.
• Coordinate vehicle interventions with external suppliers and regional teams.
• Move vehicles to depots and manage depot equipment and supplies.
• Prepare vehicles for customers and assist with reservations, check-ins and check-outs.
