Base pay range

A$130,000.00/yr - A$150,000.00/yr

Team Leader - CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services)
Location: Regional NSW
Job Type: Full-time Permanent
Salary: $150,000 + Relocation + Salary Packaging option

Relevant Tertiary Qualification: Registered Nurse, Psychologist, Social Worker or Counsellor

1 hour flight from Melbourne

You will be fully supported with relocation and setting you up with housing, two local primary schools & high school.

About the Company

Our client is a trusted provider of community-focused healthcare services across regional New South Wales. With a strong reputation for delivering person-centred care and mental health support, they are committed to improving the wellbeing of children, adolescents, and families. They are currently seeking a dedicated Team Leader - CAMHS to take the lead in shaping and delivering high-quality, multidisciplinary mental health services to young people across the region.

The Role

This is a rewarding leadership opportunity for a driven and compassionate mental health professional. As the Team Leader - CAMHS, you'll oversee the daily operations, clinical leadership, and strategic direction of a community-based mental health team supporting children, adolescents, and their families.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the planning and delivery of culturally safe, high-quality mental health services
• Providing operational and clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team
• Driving service development and continuous improvement aligned with local and national priorities
• Managing budgets, staffing, and physical resources to support service efficiency and continuity
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policy, and clinical governance frameworks
• Acting as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and cross-border service partners
• Leading incident management, client safety, and quality assurance processes

What We're Looking For

To thrive in this role, you will have:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in mental health and current AHPRA registration
• Registred Nurse, Psychologist, Social Worker or Counsellor
• Demonstrated experience in leading multidisciplinary teams in a clinical setting
• Strong understanding of community mental health services and governance frameworks
• Proven ability to lead change, manage resources, and engage teams
• High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the region
