Job summary

One Solar Australia is seeking an experienced Call Centre Manager to lead our solar and battery appointment-setting team from our Murarrie office in Brisbane. This hands-on leadership role focuses on turning leads into high-quality, sales-ready appointments in a fast-paced environment.

You will recruit, onboard, train and mentor staff, establish KPIs, monitor calls, coach agents, and collaborate with sales to improve conversion.

Qualifications

• Mandatory experience in the Australian solar and battery industry.
• Proven track record leading a call centre or outbound sales team.
• Strong leadership, communication and KPI-driven coaching.
• Deep understanding of the residential solar customer journey.

Responsibilities

About the Role

One Solar Australia is seeking an experienced and results-driven Call Centre Manager to lead, motivate and develop our solar and battery appointment-setting team.

This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who understands the solar industry, thrives in a fast‑paced sales environment and knows how to turn leads into high‑quality appointments that convert into sales.

You’ll take ownership of daily call centre operations, drive team performance and work closely with our sales and management teams to achieve business targets.

This role is based entirely at our Murarrie office. Remote or hybrid work is not available.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of our appointment‑setting team.
• Recruit, onboard, train and mentor call centre staff.
• Establish, monitor and improve KPIs, including call volumes, appointment bookings, attendance rates and conversion performance.
• Monitor calls, provide constructive feedback and continuously improve sales scripts and objection‑handling techniques.
• Drive appointment quality, ensuring bookings are genuine, qualified and sales‑ready.
• Manage lead distribution, follow‑up processes and CRM accuracy.
• Identify performance gaps and implement strategies to improve productivity and results.
• Prepare regular performance reports and provide updates to management.
• Collaborate with the sales team to improve lead conversion and customer experience.
• Build a motivated, accountable and high‑performing team culture.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience working in the Australian solar and battery industry – mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience managing a call centre, appointment‑setting team or outbound sales team.
• Strong understanding of residential solar and battery products and the customer sales journey.
• Proven ability to coach, motivate and manage staff against measurable KPIs.
• Experience improving appointment quality, conversion rates and team productivity.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving skills.
• Confidence using CRM systems, diallers and performance reporting tools.
• A proactive, hands‑on management style with a strong focus on results.

Working Hours: 35–40 hours per week, with additional weekend shifts available.
