AMES Australia is seeking an Employment Mentor to support job seekers from CALD backgrounds who face employment barriers. You will manage a caseload, reverse market candidates, and provide job search training while liaising with employers to secure opportunities.

The role focuses on tailored guidance, barrier identification, and creating individual career plans to help clients gain suitable employment within a defined timeframe.

Qualifications

• Experience in case management or client liaison, including with CALD communities.
• Understanding of challenges faced by refugees and asylum seekers.
• Knowledge of employment support services for CALD clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualised support and guidance to job seekers from CALD backgrounds.
• Manage a caseload, reverse marketing candidates, and support employers with CALD hires.
• Coordinate job search training and assess barriers to employment.
• Monitor and review delivery of employment support services.
