Job summary

Homebush Cakes, an established Australian bakery, is seeking an experienced Cake Decorator to join our busy production team in Sydney. This hands-on role focuses on decorating and finishing cakes and desserts to meet quality standards with a strong emphasis on presentation.

Key requirements include previous cake decorating experience, excellent piping and finishing skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a production environment.

• Previous cake decorating experience.
• Strong piping, icing and finishing skills.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Commercial bakery or high-volume production experience would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Decorating and finishing cakes and desserts.
• Icing, piping and applying decorations.
• Producing consistent, high-quality finished products.
• Following product specifications and presentation standards.
• Working efficiently to meet daily production requirements.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
• Following food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures.
• Working closely with our bakery and production teams.
