Local Workforce Hire in Queensland is seeking General Labourers and Casual Trade Assistants for ongoing casual work across construction, landscaping and industrial sites.

You will earn $35.11 per hour with a typical weekly income around $1,400+, plus 11.5% superannuation and a $22 daily travel allowance.

Ideal candidates have at least 12 months' labour experience, Construction White Card, a valid driver licence and the ability to perform physically demanding work on site.

What You'll Be Doing

• Residential and commercial construction
• Warehouse fit-outs and pallet racking installations
• Shopfitting and carpentry projects
• Demolition and strip-out work
• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Container unloading
• Site clean-ups and final cleans
• General manual handling duties

Typical tasks include:

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assembling products
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We're Looking For

To join our team you must have:

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant
• Construction White Card
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred)
• Ability to perform physically demanding work

• Reliability and punctuality

PPE Requirements

You must supply your own PPE, including:

• Steel-capped boots
• Hard hat
• Safety glasses
• Work gloves
• High-visibility clothing
