Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking General Labourers and Casual Trade Assistants to support builders, landscapers and industrial clients across the region. Earn $35.11 per hour with 11.5% super and a $22 daily travel allowance, plus weekly pay and ongoing casual assignments.

You'll work across commercial and residential sites, perform general labouring duties, and have opportunities to secure permanent roles after proving yourself on site. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card required.
• Current driver licence and reliable transport preferred.
• Physically capable of demanding work.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different, with opportunities to work across a variety of industries including:

• Commercial and residential landscaping
• Residential and commercial construction
• Warehouse fit-outs and pallet racking installations
• Shopfitting and carpentry projects
• Demolition and strip-out work
• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Container unloading
• Site clean-ups and final cleans
• General manual handling duties

Typical tasks include:

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assembling products
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We're Looking For

To join our team you must have:

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant
• Construction White Card
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred)
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliability and punctuality

PPE Requirements

You must supply your own PPE, including:

• Steel-capped boots
• Hard hat
• Safety glasses
• Work gloves
• High-visibility clothing
