Local Workforce Hire is actively seeking General Labourers and Trade Assistants for casual, ongoing work across construction, landscaping, warehousing and shopfitting projects in regional Queensland. Immediate starts are available with weekly pay and a clear path to permanent employment for reliable staff.

You'll be part of a dedicated team supplying skilled casual staff to builders, manufacturers and industrial sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card.
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred).
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Responsabilités

• Work across a variety of industries including landscaping, construction, warehouse fit-outs, shopfitting and more.
• Assist with site preparation, material handling and general labouring.
• Support qualified tradespeople on site.
• Complete daily tasks like wheelbarrowing, digging, and clean-ups.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different, with opportunities to work across a variety of industries including:

• Commercial and residential landscaping
• Residential and commercial construction
• Warehouse fit-outs and pallet racking installations
• Shopfitting and carpentry projects
• Demolition and strip-out work
• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Site clean-ups and final cleans

Typical tasks include:

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We're Looking For
