Job summary

Skytrans Australia in Cairns is seeking dedicated cabin crew for Dash 8 operations. This full-time role requires clear communication, top-notch customer service, and the ability to work solo on smaller aircraft while upholding safety standards.

You will conduct safety demonstrations, assist passengers (including minors and those with limited English), coordinate with the pilot, and ensure cabin cleanliness and readiness for every flight.

Qualifications

• Must hold First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certificates.
• RSA certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Valid passport with at least 6 months validity.
• Able to swim 50 metres and tread water for 3 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Announce and demonstrate safety procedures for passengers.
• Direct and assist passengers during emergencies with calmness.
• Provide exceptional service to all passengers, including unaccompanied minors and non-English speakers.
• Assist in cabin cleaning between flights to maintain hygiene.
• Coordinate with pilot-in-command on operational needs and weather.
• Maintain supplies of food and beverages for flight service.
