Job summary

DCT Hospitality Group Pty Ltd in Gosford NSW is seeking a motivated cafe supervisor to lead a small team, deliver fast, attentive service, and craft high-quality espresso beverages. You will be the business owner's advocate, connect with customers, and oversee daily cafe setup and presentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years supervisory or management experience in cafe or QSR.
• Exceptional espresso/barista experience (2+ years).
• Reliable, trustworthy and ethical with strong communication.
• Ability to manage inventory, ordering and basic admin.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team to deliver attentive, fast service and quality coffee.
• Oversee daily setup and presentation of the café.
• Ensure timely inventory ordering and supplies.
• Handle a portion of daily administration.
• Coach and train staff.

About the ROLE:

Lead a small team of amazing individuals to provide attentive, fast and efficient service, high quality espresso coffee and simple yet delicious food.

Be the business owner's advocate and most trusted member of the team.

Build connection with our customers and community.

Take responsibility for the set up and presentation of the café on a daily basis.

Take responsibility for the timely ordering of inventory and supplies on a daily basis.

Take responsibility for a small amount of daily administration.

Guide and support staff training.

Strong and confident communicator with a positive disposition.

Supervisory / Management experience (min. 2 years) in either a café, restaurant or QSR.

Exceptional barista / specialty espresso experience (min. 2 years).

Confident food prep and presentation skills with an eye for detail.

Safety-minded.

Strong literacy skills (reading, writing, spelling).

Numerical competency (numbers, counting).

Driver's licence and a reliable vehicle.
