Job summary

Joan's Pantry in Adelaide is seeking a hands-on Front-of-House Leader to guide our busy service and lead from the front. You will be a central part of daily operations and work closely with management to shape a welcoming atmosphere.

You will manage and motivate staff, maintain high coffee and service standards, train teammates, and step up with responsibility during peak times, delivering a warm, efficient experience for every customer.

• Proven experience in a busy café or hospitality environment.
• Strong barista skills and confidence on the machine.
• Previous experience managing or supervising staff.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

This is a hands‑on position for someone who enjoys being in the middle of a busy service and leading from the front. You will be an important part of the day‑to‑day running of the café, working closely with management and helping to lead our front‑of‑house team.

Key responsibilities

Leading and supporting the front‑of‑house team

Managing staff and helping create a positive team culture

Working confidently on the coffee machine during busy services

Maintaining consistently high coffee and service standards
