Job summary

NRMA Parks & Resorts’ South West Rocks Holiday Resort is seeking a hands-on Café Manager to lead the busy onsite café and mentor a small team on the Mid North Coast. You’ll be front and centre during peak trading periods to ensure exceptional guest experiences and smooth operations.

You will actively manage day-to-day café duties, lead from the front, and drive profitability while maintaining high standards of service and food safety in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate and/or Food Handling Certificate.
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
• Full Australian Working Rights.

At NRMA Parks & Resorts, we\'re passionate about creating memorable holiday experiences for our guests. Nestled on the stunning Mid North Coast and situated on the traditional lands of the Dunghutti People, our South West Rocks Holiday Resort is a popular destination for families, holidaymakers and travellers year‑round.

We\'re seeking an experienced and hands‑on Cafe Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of our busy onsite café.

About the Role

This is a practical leadership position where you\'ll be actively involved in the day‑to‑day operation of the café while leading and mentoring a small team. During peak trading periods, including weekends, public holidays and school holidays, you\'ll be front and centre ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth operational delivery.

What You\'ll Bring

You are a motivated hospitality professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys leading from the front.

You\'ll bring:

• Previous experience managing a café, restaurant or similar hospitality venue
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Experience managing budgets, labour costs and stock control
• Excellent rostering and workforce planning capabilities
• A customer‑first mindset and passion for creating great guest experiences
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Flexibility to work weekends, school holidays and peak trading periods

Essential Requirements

• Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate and/or Food Handling Certificate
