Job summary

NRMA Parks & Resorts is seeking an experienced Cafe Manager for our South West Rocks holiday resort on the Mid North Coast of NSW. You’ll lead a small team in a busy onsite café, driving guest satisfaction and smooth daily operations.

In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll manage budgets, labour costs, rosters, and stock, while upholding food safety and hygiene. Weekend and holiday periods require flexibility and strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a cafe, restaurant or similar hospitality venue.
• Excellent rostering and workforce planning capabilities.
• Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate and/or Food Handling Certificate; RSA is essential.

Job Description

At NRMA Parks & Resorts, we're passionate about creating memorable holiday experiences for our guests. Nestled on the stunning Mid North Coast and situated on the traditional lands of the Dunghutti People, our South West Rocks Holiday Resort is a popular destination for families, holidaymakers and travellers year-round.

We're seeking an experienced and hands-on Cafe Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our busy onsite café.

About the Role

This is a practical leadership position where you'll be actively involved in the day-to-day operation of the café while leading and mentoring a small team. During peak trading periods, including weekends, public holidays and school holidays, you'll be front and centre ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth operational delivery.

What You’ll Bring

You are a motivated hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading from the front.

You’ll bring:

• Previous experience managing a café, restaurant or similar hospitality venue
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Experience managing budgets, labour costs and stock control
• Excellent rostering and workforce planning capabilities
• A customer-first mindset and passion for creating great guest experiences
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Flexibility to work weekends, school holidays and peak trading periods
• Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate and/or Food Handling Certificate
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
• Full Australian Working Rights
