The Eurobodalla Shire Council in Moruya, NSW offers a Cadet Civil Engineer program combining paid on-the-job experience with part-time study. Positions are fixed-term for up to eight years, with exposure across four divisions of Infrastructure Services and involvement in a variety of projects that benefit the local community.

Responsibilities include administrative and technical support, investigations, designs, cost estimates, procurement, and project delivery oversight.

Responsabilités

• Provide administrative and technical support across infrastructure operations, maintenance and construction activities.
• Assist with investigations, concept designs and environmental assessments for infrastructure projects.
• Liaise with staff, contractors, consultants and the community on engineering standards and requirements.
• Prepare cost estimates, project schedules and project management documentation.
• Assist with procurement activities and contract administration.
• Support the delivery and monitoring of projects, including expenditure tracking and reporting.
