Job summary

Eurobodalla Shire Council is offering Cadet Civil Engineer roles based in Moruya. These fixed-term positions combine paid on-the-job experience with part-time study to develop you into a qualified civil engineer, across council's Infrastructure Services Directorate.

You will support infrastructure operations, assist with investigations and environmental assessments, liaise with staff and contractors, prepare cost estimates and project schedules, help with procurement, and monitor project

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and technical support across infrastructure operations, maintenance and construction activities.
• Assist with investigations, concept designs and environmental assessments for infrastructure projects.
• Liaise with Council staff, contractors, consultants and the community on engineering standards and requirements.
• Prepare cost estimates, project schedules and project management documentation.
• Assist with procurement activities and contract administration.
• Support the delivery and monitoring of projects, including expenditure tracking and reporting.
