• Provide administrative and technical support across infrastructure operations, maintenance and construction activities.
• Assist with investigations, concept designs and environmental assessments for infrastructure projects.
• Liaise with Council staff, contractors, consultants and the community on engineering standards and requirements.
• Prepare cost estimates, project schedules and project management documentation.
• Assist with procurement activities and contract administration.
• Support the delivery and monitoring of projects, including expenditure tracking and reporting.

Based in Moruya, you’ll gain exposure across the four divisions of Council’s Infrastructure Services Directorate, contributing to a variety of infrastructure projects that make a real difference to our community.

As a Cadet Civil Engineer, you will: Provide administrative and technical support across infrastructure operations, maintenance and construction activities. The salary range for this position is $2,367.24 to $3,713.09 per fortnight, plus 12% superannuation. Commencing salary and progression through these grades will be determined by the level of; study completed; on the job experience and; responsibility required for the work undertaken.
