Job summary

Powertech PTY LTD in Malaga, WA seeks an experienced High Voltage Cable Jointer for a Full-Time Permanent role. The position covers jointing and terminating underground HV/LV cables, and involves HV terminations on switchgear, earthing grids, and LV pillar work.

Relocation support may be provided to the right candidate. The ideal applicant will hold Cert 3 HV/LV Cable Jointing, WA driver’s license, white card, and have 3+ years’ experience in cable jointing, with Western Power accreditation and

Qualifications

• Cert 3 or equivalent training in HV and LV Cable Jointing.
• Electrical Trade Certification (Preferred).
• Western Power accreditation for HV & LV jointing (Preferred).
• High-risk work License.
• Current WA Driver’s License.
• Construction White Card.
• Strong work history in Cable Jointer role.
• Have at least three years’ experience as Cable Jointer.
• Experience in completing XLPE terminations and joints.

Responsibilities

• Jointing and termination of underground HV/LV power cables.
• HV Terminations on various types of switchgear.
• Installation of earthing/earth grids for substation and HV assets.
• LV works including pillar installation and terminations/joints.
• Locate underground electric cable faults for repair.
