Job summary

FSCI is seeking an Apprentice Cabinetmaker in Williamstown North, Melbourne VIC to join a growing commercial construction and shop fit-out team. You will be guided by seasoned tradespeople while gaining hands-on experience across factory, production and on-site work.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and reliable Apprentice Cabinetmaker to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in cabinetmaking and commercial fit-outs. You will be guided and mentored by experienced tradespeople while gaining hands‑on experience across a variety of factory, production and on‑site work.

The Role

As an Apprentice Cabinetmaker, your duties may include:

• On-site joinery and commercial fit-out works
• Factory and production-based tasks
• CNC machine operation and maintenance
• Assembly, repairs and installation works
• Working with tools, machinery and equipment
• Assisting with cabinet making and joinery-related tasks
• Following safety rules, site procedures and company standards
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment
• Learning new skills as you work towards your trade qualification.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, trustworthy, reliable and willing to learn.

To be successful, you will ideally:

• Have, or be willing to obtain, a white construction card
• Take pride in your appearance and work
• Have your own reliable transport
• Be punctual, dependable and safety focusedBe keen to learn from experienced senior cabinetmakers
• Be looking for a long-term career in cabinet making and commercial fit-out
