Job summary

H & F Custom Joinery is seeking a tradesperson for our installation crew. You will install high-end custom joinery on residential and commercial projects, read plans, and ensure workmanship meets the highest standards.

The role involves on-site work with potential overtime and overnight stays where required. Full-time position with company vehicles provided, ongoing skill development, and annual pay reviews.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Cabinet Making (or equivalent).
• Experience installing high-end or custom joinery.
• Good reading of plans and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy cabinetry and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Install high-end or custom joinery on residential and commercial projects.
• Read and interpret plans and specs to ensure accurate installation.
• Maintain quality workmanship and finish to highest standard.
• Collaborate with team on-site and manage varying schedules.

Job description

H+F specialise in architectural and custom joinery in both commercial and domestic markets. Projects are based locally and in Melbourne, using state-of-the-art machinery, high-end materials and hardware, all produced from our Gippsland factory.

Join our friendly installation crew and you'll always be working on something new and rewarding. Projects at H+F span entire fit-outs of residential properties and retail spaces through to integrated furniture and custom fittings and we are looking for a tradesperson who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and attention to detail to ensure our products are completed to the highest standard for our customers.

Further position details include:

Company vehicles provided for all work-related travel.

Variable work hours including overtime and overnight stays, with accommodation and meals provided where required.

Full-time position with weekly payroll.

+ About You

Certificate III in Cabinet Making(or equivalent).

Previous experience installing high-end or custom joinery.

A current Construction Industry White Card and Driver Licence.

The ability to read plans and work accurately.

Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.

Fit and able to lift heavy cabinetry.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
