Job summary

Austracraft Projects is seeking an experienced cabinet maker/joiner to join our team in Sydney. The role involves manufacturing and installing kitchens and vanities within our workshop and on-site tasks as required.

Ideal candidates will read shop drawings, operate CNC machinery, edge banders and panel saw, and work well both unsupervised and with others. Immediate start and competitive pay above award rate are offered.

Qualifications

• Kitchen/vanity manufacturing experience required.
• Ability to read work-shop drawings.
• Ability to work unsupervised and in a team.
• Willing to learn new systems and work with tradesmen.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and install cabinets and joinery.
• Operate CNC machines, edge banders and panel saw.
• Maintain quality and punctuality on site.

Austracraft Projects are looking for experience Joiners/shopfitters to start immediately.

This permanent full time position offers above award rate and a fantastic work life balance.

Within the factory you will be working with Machinery alongside a great team of colleagues.

To be considered for this position you must:

• Have Kitchen/ Vanity manufacturing and installation experience
• Have the ability to understand and read work-shop drawings
• Have the ability to work unsupervised and work as part of a team
• Be able to use CNC machine, Edge Bander, panel saw
• Be able and willing to learn new systems and work alongside tradesmen.
• Undertake basic listing, create cabinet & door cultists from shop drawings
• Have the ability to work flexible hours if needed during busy periods
• Pay attention to detail and accuracy
• Be dedicated and punctual
• Be able to communicated with fellow work mates
• Be honest and Reliable
