Job summary

Harrison-Barratt-Group- seeks a commercially driven Contract Administrator to join its growing projects team in NSW. You will oversee financial and contractual management from procurement through final account, protecting margins and maintaining subcontractor relationships.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager and collaborating with the Managing Director, you will manage contracts, variations, progress claims and cost control to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery across Class 2 residential

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as Contract Administrator in construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial processes.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in construction management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor and consultant contracts.
• Prepare, review and administer contracts and purchase orders.
• Manage variations, progress claims and payment schedules.
• Review subcontractor claims and support project cost control.
• Maintain accurate contract and commercial records.
• Manage RFIs, notices and contractual correspondence.
• Assist with procurement and subcontractor negotiations.
• Monitor project costs and commitments.
• Work with Project Managers, Site Managers, consultants and subcontractors.
• Support the successful commercial delivery of projects.

Our client is a developer-builder seeking a Contract Administrator to join our growing projects team. With a strong pipeline of Class 2 residential projects across Sydney, we are looking for a commercially driven CA who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a high-performing team.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager and working closely with the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the financial and contractual management of projects from procurement through to final account.
You will play a key role in protecting project margins while maintaining strong subcontractor and supplier relationships.

• Managing subcontractor and consultant contracts
• Preparing, reviewing and administering contracts and purchase orders
• Managing variations, progress claims and payment schedules
• Reviewing subcontractor claims and supporting project cost control
• Maintaining accurate contract and commercial records
• Managing RFIs, notices and contractual correspondence
• Assisting with procurement and subcontractor negotiations

Experience:
