Job summary

TechnologyOne, Brisbane-based, is seeking a Developer to join the Financials product team. You will enhance our SaaS platform using C# and .NET, work with APIs and databases, and grow your skills in AI-enabled development practices within a supportive team.

You will collaborate with experienced developers, contribute to feature delivery, and focus on writing clean, high-quality code while maintaining data integrity.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in software development.
• Strong knowledge of C# and .NET.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and SQL queries.
• Basic accounting knowledge around Accounts Receivable, Billing and Debtors.

What you'll be doing:

• Develop clean, efficient, maintainable and testable code with support from experienced developers.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners and other team members to design and deliver new features.
• Contribute to solving technical challenges and delivering great experiences for our customers.
• Work with APIs, databases and other technologies that support our SaaS platform.
• Learn and apply software development and testing best practices.
• Build a strong understanding of TechnologyOne products, functionality, design and architecture.
• Explore new technologies and AI-enabled development practices to improve how we build software.
• Work as part of a supportive team, learning from experienced developers and contributing your own ideas.
• 3-5 years of experience working in software development.
• A genuine passion for software development and a desire to continue building your skills.
• Experience with C# and .NET, with an understanding of RESTful services.
• Experience with SQL and the ability to write and troubleshoot basic queries.
• Basic accounting knowledge, particularly around Accounts Receivable, Billing and Debtors.
• Knowledge of building integrated products at scale, with a strong focus on maintaining data integrity.
• A focus on writing clean, high-quality code and continuously improving your craft.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• A willingness to learn new technologies and explore AI-enabled development practices.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with tools such as Git, Rider, JIRA and Confluence.
