Job summary

TechnologyOne in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Developer to join the Property & Rating product team. You will write clean, maintainable C# code, design robust software, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver features that scale for thousands of users.

You will embrace AI coding agents to improve development workflow, contribute to testing and security, mentor juniors, and help shape architecture while working in a flexible, award-winning culture in Queensland.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven software development experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Based in Brisbane or willing to relocate to Brisbane.
• Strong C# and SQL with experience in agile environments.
• Familiar with Git, Rider/VS Code, Jira/Confluence, TeamCity.

In this role, you'll work on large-scale, mission-critical software used by organisations across Australia and beyond. What matters is your ability to build reliable, well-designed applications in C#, while embracing modern AI coding agents to improve how you design, develop, test and deliver software. What you'll be doing:

• Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code that is robust, scalable, and testable.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to design and implement new capabilities and features.
• Use A.I coding agents as part of your development workflow to improve productivity, code quality, testing and problem-solving.
• Deliver intuitive solutions to complex challenges, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Integrate security protocols and devices to enhance the safety of our SaaS platform.
• Stay ahead of industry trends by engaging with developers and architects to explore new technologies and development practices.
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering skill development and growth.
• Build a deep, hands-on understanding of TechnologyOne products, becoming an expert in functionality, design, and architecture.
• Apply best practices in software quality, including test automation, to meet performance and reliability goals.
• A genuine passion for C# development and agile ways of working, with the curiosity to take on new challenges.
• Experience using A.I coding agents as part of the software development lifecycle, with an understanding of how to effectively leverage them to improve development outcomes.
• A focus on writing clean, high-quality code and continuously improving your craft.
• Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write efficient queries, troubleshoot performance issues, and optimise database operations to support scalable, high-performing applications.
• 5+ years of proven experience working in software development.
• A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• The ability to thrive working both independently and as part of a team.
• Confidence using tools like Git, Rider/VS Code, Jira, Confluence and TeamCity.
• Based in Brisbane, or willing and able to relocate to Brisbane for the role.
