Job summary

MESHKI is hiring a Buying Admin Assistant to support the Buying team from development through launch. You will work with the Buyer and cross-functional teams across Design, Merchandising and Production to ensure smooth collection execution with strong organisation and accurate PO management.

You will gain exposure to product, trade and trends, while building a solid foundation for progression within Buying and a career in fashion operations at MESHKI.

Qualifications

  • 1 year buying admin experience in a fashion brand is preferred.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail with multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong numerical and analytical capability for sales performance and trading decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the Buyer across the product lifecycle.
  • Maintain data integrity across systems for product, SKU, costing, pricing, delivery and PO information.
  • Support critical path management and communicate milestones and delivery updates.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to chase samples, lab dips, fabric swatches and approvals.
  • Coordinate samples across fit sessions, photoshoots and warehouse processing.
  • Assist with range reviews, CAD uploads, costings and system inputs.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising to maintain range information aligned to trading performance.
  • Conduct market research and weekly trade analysis to inform future ranges.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to team expansion we are hiring a Buying Admin Assistant at MESHKI. You will play an integral role in supporting the Buying team across the end-to-end product lifecycle, helping bring our collections from initial development through to launch. Working closely with the Buyer and cross-functional teams across Design, Merchandising and Production, you will support the smooth execution of collections through exceptional organisation, accurate product and purchase order management, critical path coordination, sample management and supplier communication. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly organised, detail-driven and passionate about fashion, with a genuine curiosity to understand the commercial decisions behind the product. As you develop within the role, you will build your knowledge across product, trade, trends and the MESHKI customer, creating a strong foundation for progression within Buying.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the Buyer across the product lifecycle, maintaining accurate range plans, fit slides, meeting notes and key Buying documents
  • Maintain exceptional data integrity across all systems, ensuring product, SKU, costing, pricing, delivery and purchase order information is accurate and up to date
  • Support critical path management, ensuring key milestones, new POs and delivery updates are accurately tracked and communicated to help deliver product on time
  • Work closely with suppliers to chase samples, lab dips, fabric swatches, approvals and outstanding information, maintaining clear and professional communication
  • Coordinate samples across fit sessions, sign-offs, photoshoots and warehouse processing, ensuring samples are accurately labelled, tracked and available when required
  • Support the Buying and Merchandising teams in preparing for range reviews and sign-offs, including range overviews, roll-ups, CAD uploads, costings and system inputs
  • Collaborate with Merchandising to support PO size curves and maintain accurate range and launch information aligned to trading performance and customer demand
  • Conduct monthly competitor and market research, identifying emerging trends, promotions, product opportunities and relevant market insights to support the Buyer and future range planning
  • Develop your commercial understanding through weekly trade and sales analysis, identifying best and underperforming products, customer trends and opportunities to inform future ranges.
  • Maintain organised fabric, lab dip, bulk and sample archives, including accurate fabric composition and fibre information
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING
  • Minimum 1 years of buying admin experience within an own-brand, elevated fashion brand.
  • Exceptional organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy while managing multiple priorities
  • A proactive and accountable approach, you take ownership of your responsibilities, follow tasks through to completion and communicate potential issues early.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to work professionally with suppliers and cross-functional teams
  • Strong numerical and analytical capability, with an interest in developing your understanding of sales performance, trade and commercial Buying decisions.
  • A strong fashion eye and curiosity for trends, competitors, social media and changing customer behaviour
  • Confidence working with systems, spreadsheets and large volumes of product information, with a commitment to maintaining excellent data integrity.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support the wider team to achieve shared deadlines and collection goals
  • A genuine passion for fashion, product and the MESHKI brand, with a strong interest in developing a career within Buying
