Harris Farm Markets Lindfield is seeking a dedicated butcher to join our fresh food team. You will prepare, present and sell premium protein, help customers choose the right cut and offer cooking advice to ensure great results.

You’ll also mentor the next generation of Meat Assistants on the block and uphold top hygiene standards. Our family-owned business values quality, community and opportunity to grow within the Harris Farm family.

Qualifications

• Experience in fresh food retail, especially meat, is required.
• Ability to communicate confidently with customers and team.
• Strong commitment to food safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Break down, bone, portion and prepare meat to Harris Farm specification.
• Create value-added products like marinades and burgers.
• Quality check every delivery and manage trim waste.
• Maintain clean blocks, boards, counters and tools.
• Own cold chain, hygiene and food safety on shift.
• Teach and lead junior Meat Assistants on the block.
