Job summary

VIDA Roads, part of the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority, is seeking a Business Transformation Manager to lead strategic initiatives from concept to delivery. The role focuses on defining business requirements, coordinating delivery, and ensuring outcomes meet scope, timeframes, budgets, and quality standards.

You will engage with stakeholders, manage vendors, and establish performance measures and KPIs to deliver measurable value and organisational improvement.

• Lead the planning, initiation, and delivery of strategic business and technology initiatives, ensuring scope, timelines, budgets, quality, and outcomes are achieved.
• Lead business engagement and requirements management with stakeholders, define requirements, and develop business cases and delivery plans.
• Establish and maintain governance practices, reporting, decision tracking, and risk/change management.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendor management and effective communication throughout the lifecycle.

Lead the planning, initiation, and delivery of strategic business and technology initiatives, ensuring agreed scope, timelines, budgets, quality standards, and business outcomes are achieved.

Lead business engagement and requirements management, working collaboratively with business stakeholders, project teams, and subject matter experts to understand business needs, define requirements, evaluate solution options, and support the development of business cases, project briefs, and delivery plans.

Establish and maintain effective project governance practices, including reporting, documentation, decision tracking, and the proactive management of risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendor management, facilitating effective communication, collaboration, and engagement throughout the lifecycle of initiatives to ensure successful delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

Support the identification of expected benefits, establish performance measures and key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor progress, and report on outcomes to ensure initiatives deliver measurable value and continuous organisational improvement.

The Business Transformation Manager will lead strategic and evolving business initiatives from concept through to implementation, working closely with internal and external stakeholders, project teams, and business leaders, in defining business requirements, coordinating delivery activities, and ensuring outcomes are achieved within agreed scope, timeframes, budgets, and quality expectations.
