VIDA Roads, part of the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority, is seeking a Business Transformation Manager in Melbourne. Hybrid working arrangements apply, with the role located at 180 Lonsdale St.

The 12-month maximum term position leads strategic business and technology initiatives across the organization, ensuring scope, timelines, budgets and outcomes meet expectations. The role requires building strong stakeholder relationships, managing governance and delivering measurable benefits

• Establish governance, reporting, risk and dependency management across the portfolio.
• Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders and manage vendor engagement.
• Identify expected benefits, set KPIs and monitor outcomes to ensure value.
• Drive initiatives from concept to implementation within agreed scope, timeframes and budgets.

VIDA Roads is delivering a massive investment in the state's roads. We're delivering major new road projects across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria while improving the roads people rely on every day.

The West Gate Tunnel Project has given Melbourne a second freeway link between the west and the city - providing a much-needed alternative to the West Gate Bridge and a vital second river crossing.

North East Link will fix the missing link in Melbourne's freeway network with new 6.5 km tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen. We're also overhauling the Eastern Freeway and completing the M80 Ring Road at Greensborough.

Road Programs are also delivering dozens of new roads, bridges, road widening projects and major freeway upgrades.

Join us in building better connections for Victoria by:

Lead the planning, initiation, and delivery of strategic business and technology initiatives, ensuring agreed scope, timelines, budgets, quality standards, and business outcomes are achieved.

Lead business engagement and requirements management, working collaboratively with business stakeholders, project teams, and subject matter experts to understand business needs, define requirements, evaluate solution options, and support the development of business cases, project briefs, and delivery plans.

Establish and maintain effective project governance practices, including reporting, documentation, decision tracking, and the proactive management of risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendor management, facilitating effective communication, collaboration, and engagement throughout the lifecycle of initiatives to ensure successful delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

Support the identification of expected benefits, establish performance measures and key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor progress, and report on outcomes to ensure initiatives deliver measurable value and continuous organisational improvement.

The Business Transformation Manager will lead strategic and evolving business initiatives from concept through to implementation, working closely with internal and external stakeholders, project teams, and business leaders, in defining business requirements, coordinating delivery activities, and ensuring outcomes are achieved within agreed scope, timeframes, budgets, and quality expectations.
