Job summary
State Trustees Limited in Melbourne is seeking a Business Solutions Designer to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions. You’ll lead requirements gathering, design artefacts and supervise delivery with agile teams, balancing cost, risk and timelines to improve operations and client outcomes.
You’ll engage stakeholders, run workshops, and translate requirements into practical designs across APIs, cloud platforms and enterprise apps, with a strong focus on collaboration,
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business Management or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience in business analysis, solution design or a similar technology role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience resolving complex challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.
- Understanding of solution architecture concepts, including integration patterns, data flows, APIs, cloud technologies and enterprise applications.
- Experience facilitating workshops and engaging business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience across the system development life cycle.
- Experience working in Agile environments and coordinating delivery activities.
- Understanding of system design, development, infrastructure and database concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in financial services, digital systems, business process re-engineering or process improvement will be highly regarded, as will experience with Salesforce, Oracle, Azure DevOps, JIRA or similar platforms.
