Job summary

VGW Australia is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Perth-based BI team. You will work with Risk, Compliance, and Legal stakeholders to deliver trusted reporting solutions and manage sensitive data with discretion.

You will query complex databases with SQL and build dashboards in Tableau or Power BI, translating business requests into clear metrics and reporting. Collaboration with Legal and other teams is essential to ensure accuracy and alignment with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in data analysis and BI, including writing, reviewing, and troubleshooting SQL queries.
• Practical experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
• Strong discretion and sound judgment when working with sensitive or confidential data
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical BI solutions

• Delivering professional and accurate reporting solutions across the portfolio, specifically supporting Risk, Compliance, and Legal requirements
• Handling sensitive data with appropriate discretion, ensuring robust reporting while protecting confidential information
