VGW Australia is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst in Sydney to join our BI team. You will work with Risk, Compliance, and Legal stakeholders to deliver trusted reporting solutions while handling sensitive data with discretion.

The role involves querying databases with SQL and building dashboards in Tableau or Power BI, and building strong stakeholder relationships to translate business requirements into metrics and reporting solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data analysis and BI, including writing, reviewing, and troubleshooting SQL queries.
• Practical experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong discretion and sound judgment when working with sensitive or confidential data.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical BI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional and accurate reporting solutions across the portfolio, specifically supporting Risk, Compliance, and Legal requirements.
• Handle sensitive data with appropriate discretion, ensuring robust reporting while protecting confidential information.
• Query complex databases using SQL and build intuitive dashboards in Tableau or Power BI.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Legal team, to translate business requests into clear metrics and reporting solutions.
