Job summary

VGW Australia is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Perth-based BI team. You will collaborate with Risk, Compliance and Legal stakeholders to deliver trusted reporting solutions and manage sensitive data with discretion.

You will query complex databases using SQL and build dashboards in Tableau or Power BI, translating business needs into clear metrics and actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data analysis and business intelligence, including writing, reviewing, and troubleshooting SQL queries.
• Practical experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong discretion and sound judgment when working with sensitive or confidential data.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical BI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Delivering professional and accurate reporting solutions across the portfolio, specifically supporting Risk, Compliance, and Legal requirements
• Handling sensitive data with appropriate discretion, ensuring robust reporting while protecting confidential information

• Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Legal team, to translate business requests into clear metrics and reporting solutions
