Job summary

Redland City Council is seeking a Business Improvement Project Officer to join the Facilities Services team on a permanent full-time basis. The role focuses on coordinating business improvement initiatives, supporting minor projects, maintaining project documentation and driving continuous improvement across asset management activities.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating business improvement initiatives, projects and project-based activities within a facilities, asset management or operational environment.
• Knowledge of facilities, business, project and/or contract management processes, with an understanding of governance, reporting and continuous improvement practices.
• Experience preparing and maintaining project documentation, status reports, presentations, correspondence and other business records.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise initiative, sound judgement and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Highly developed computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project and experience using project management, financial, asset management or CMMS systems.
• Experience supporting asset management activities, including asset data management, maintenance planning and condition assessment programs, will be highly regarded.
