Talent International in Sydney is seeking a Business Development Representative to drive new opportunities and engage founders and decision-makers for growth funding. You will qualify opportunities for the sales team and collaborate with Account Executives on effective prospecting strategies.
You’ll perform high-volume outbound outreach via cold calling, emails, LinkedIn, and social selling, while building trusted relationships in a fast-growing FinTech environment.
An exciting opportunity has opened for an ambitious Business Development Representative to join a rapidly growing global FinTech business that is transforming the way consumer and eCommerce brands access growth capital.
Backed by leading global financial institutions, my client has deployed billions in funding to thousands of businesses worldwide and combines innovative technology with a highly customer-centric approach to financing.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in technology sales. You’ll join a high-performing revenue team, receive structured sales development and gain direct exposure to founders and senior decision-makers across fast-growing businesses.
As a Business Development Representative, you’ll be responsible for generating new business opportunities and building relationships with prospective customers.
Working closely with an Account Executive, you’ll identify high-potential businesses, engage founders and decision-makers, understand their growth ambitions and qualify opportunities for the wider sales team.
You’ll be encouraged to think creatively about how you prospect and engage customers rather than relying on a single outbound channel.
We’re looking for someone ambitious, commercially minded and genuinely excited about developing a career in sales.
You could already have experience in business development, recruitment, sales or another target-driven environment, or you may be looking to transition into technology sales with highly transferable commercial experience.
You’ll ideally bring:
Previous startup, SaaS, FinTech or technology experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
This opportunity is particularly suited to someone who wants more than simply their next SDR/BDR position.
You’ll receive structured revenue and sales development designed to build the skills required to progress within the commercial organisation. High performers can build towards opportunities in areas such as Account Executive or Customer Success, with the business focused on developing its future commercial talent internally.
You’ll be joining an international technology company during an exciting stage of its growth, working alongside ambitious colleagues across multiple global markets.
The business offers a collaborative, high-performance culture where employees are encouraged to take ownership, think creatively and have a genuine impact on company growth.
The Sydney team operates within a flexible hybrid environment, combining in-person collaboration with flexibility. The broader organisation also provides employees with exposure to colleagues and leadership across its international offices.
If you’re ambitious, competitive, commercially minded and looking for an opportunity to accelerate your career within a high-growth FinTech environment, we’d love to hear from you.
PLEASE NOTE: To be considered for this opportunity, you must hold full permanent working rights in Australia or New Zealand.
