Job summary

TRHC Group in Australia seeks a driven Business Development Manager to grow the client base across mining, oil & gas, engineering, commercial and construction sectors. You will engage with clients, identify opportunities and turn relationships into new business, collaborating with management and operations to deliver tailored solutions.

You will manage a sales pipeline, conduct client meetings and site visits, and work independently to meet sales targets.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in Business Development, Sales or a similar role.
• Strong commercial awareness including pricing, margins and client requirements.
• Hunter mindset with ability to identify, pursue and convert opportunities.
• KPI-driven mindset with drive to achieve sales targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Experience in mining, oil & gas, construction, heavy industrial or engineering sectors.
• Experience with tenders, quotations, proposals or commercial submissions (beneficial).
• Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across core industries: mining, oil & gas, engineering, commercial and construction.
• Identify opportunities to grow revenue by auditing data, studying parallel markets and tender databases.
• Promote TRHC’s capabilities and services.
• Provide practical commercial solutions based on customer requirements.
• Manage sales opportunities from initial contact through quotation, negotiation and close.
• Conduct regular client meetings and site visits.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs.
• Collaborate with management and operations to deliver right solutions.
• Provide regular updates on sales activity and pipeline.
